Great Eyebrow Embroidery Experience in Singapore - BrowStation by Vivian

Eyebrow embroidery is not new to me. This is not my first time doing it, but I would say is one of the best experiences and that got the most compliments from people around me. If you don't know, eyebrow embroidery is a semi-permanent technique that used to shape your eyebrows and create a natural beautiful look. I am the person who has light eyebrows that always needed additional makeup to make it visible. Hence, eyebrow embroidery is a great solution to save my brows! 

These recent years, there are a lot of eyebrow embroidery services out there in the market. Personally, I think this is a service that highly dependent on the brow specialist's experiences and handworks. Therefore, I am very picky on choosing a brow specialist. I highly recommend BrowStation by Vivian. I stumbled upon the service from Instagram and after reviewing Vivian's works, I got in touch with her. We agreed on collaboration and I made my appointment with her without hesitant. So, without much more talking, I am going to share my experience on eyebrow embroidery with Vivian. 

Vivian has 17 years of experience working in beauty industry and 8 years specialising in eyebrow and eyeliner embroidery. Services that she provides include eyebrow embroidery, eyeliner embroidery and lip enhancement. 

Upon my visit, the first thing that Vivian did was to help me clean up my brows to make sure no other skincare or make up was on. Then based on my face shape, skin tone, Vivian provided her recommendation on the shape and length of the brows, what color to use, etc. I really like that she will take note of all the requests that I wanted, eg. natural color and how misty i would like to have. As I have uneven brows, usually the shaping process will take some time. I am so glad that Vivian is super skilful that she did it very well and fast. Here's the picture that Vivian first shaped my brows. 

After shaping followed by the numbing process. Since eyebrow embroidery involves the removal of a very thin layer of skin, this step is where the numbing cream will be applied to make you painless throughout the process. You will get to rest for about 10 minutes for the numbing cream to settle in. 

Here's the treatment process. Hair-like strokes will be designed at the top layer of the skin and colour pigment will be applied (like tattoo). Vivian even showed me new sterile disposal needles that she will use before she begin the treatment. FYI, up to 4 disposable needles might be used per brow to maintain maximum cleanliness. You can feel safe with the 100% hygiene level from Vivian's service. 

Vivian was very patience while working on the brows and you can let her know any of your concerns if there is any pain at anytime. She will reapply the cream as needed. I didn't actually felt much pain throughout the process, maybe a little stinging pain once awhile, but that's alright for me. 

Overall pain score 1-2/10, given when the numbing cream wears off, otherwise it would be painless. 

Then, the last step is to put on a layer of coloured cream as you can see from my picture. This is to make sure the colour pigment can last longer. [Don't worry this is not the final brows that you will get XD] 

The whole process took about 1.5 hours for me. I did check with Vivian whether there will be any peeling off after the treatment, as I experienced that during my previous round of embroidery. She said the peeling off process largely depends on the techniques used during the treatment and there will be some peeling off. For more lasting effects, there is another session (FOC) to top up the colour in one month time.  

Vivian is also very thoughtful that she will provide after-care kit (FOC) for all the customers. There is a sponge for cleansing and moisturiser to put on the brows.

In short, I really enjoy having Vivian for eyebrow embroidery service. Not only she is professional, patience and friendly, the result is superb. I really like the outcome - very natural and suits me well. I don't need any extra make up on my face for now. Highly recommend to those who wanted to do eyebrow embroidery.
