Our Perfect Bed Challenge was carried out in the G Suite, which is also known as the Honeymoon Suite at the hotel. In fact, G Suite is the highest room category in G Hotel Gurney for guests' ultimate luxury pampering. I was so grateful to have the opportunity to experience the hospitality and 5 star service that G Hotel offered to their guests, and get to know every furnitures and products that they use to ensure the comfort of the guests staying with them.
There are only two units of G Suite available. Both suites are encapsulated in an ultra chic and contemporary design, completed with a full set of amenities, such as Royal Platinum Serta mattresses, 65'' smart HD LED TV, Applelles eco-friendly toiletries, a lavish dressing room, and a scenic panoramic sea view.
Living room area with the 65'' smart HD LED TV where you can spend time with your loved one.
The bathroom is polished with European opulence with a fine touch of elegance and modernity.
And I really really love the bathroom features in this suite.
Two stylish basins are provided for you and your loved one.
Standing shower and the toilet area are separated.
My favorite part here where the bathtub is next to window providing a lush sea view for extra relaxation. A tv screen is provided as well while you are soaking in for rejuvenation.
Featuring the two stylish basins provided with Appelles eco-friendly toiletries.
On a site note:
Wedding couples who signed up for the Stylish wedding package (RM1,488 nett per table of minimum 30 tables) and Passion wedding package (RM1,888 nett per table of minimum 30 tables) will get to enjoy the wedding night here in the G Suite after the wedding banquet.
The spacious living room featuring a plush leather sofa and a dining table where wedding couples can also have the gate crashing ceremony there or to host the wedding guests for a pre- or post- wedding party. The living room extends to the outside of balcony area where you can enjoy the spectacular sea view.

Our Perfect Bed Challenge started with an introduction by Christina Tan (Director of Communications) and a demonstration of the bed making by Mr. Sharil Seman (Housekeeping Manager).
In this challenge, each of us will need to fold in the bedsheet, followed by putting up the duvet cover and duvet insert and finish up with 4 pillow cases correctly within the given challenging time of 15 minutes. Extra points will be given to the neatness of the overall bed making.
Thoughts after the challenge: I felt really exhausted even just making one bed and it wasn't even perfect! We got to know that each housekeeper needs to make minimum of 20 beds per day. I cannot even catch my breath after making only one bed, cannot imagine if I need to do 20 beds. *pengsan la* Housekeeper is not an easy job and every one of them deserve all our respect!

After the rounds of bed making, we had our challenge continued at the Tree Bar for the Perfect Pint challenge.
Tree Bar is now hotly-tipped as Penang's largest alfresco bar, which sits perfectly under an 80-year-old 'Albizia Saman' rain tree. The bar extended from 48 seating capacity to now 198 capacity, featuring a selection of beverages and bites.
Comfortable bar top seating as well as conventional dining tables are offered her at Tree Bar.
I do recommended the food and snacks here at Tree Bar. Thanks for the chef who really did put effort in making the food.
Tree Bar operating hours:
Sunday - Thursday : 12pm - 1am
Friday and Saturday: 12pm - 2am
Happy Hour - But 1 free 1 promotion on all house pours from 12pm - 4pm
Beer price: 3 pints of beer from RM58 nett onwards (lowest price in town)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, in this challenge, Mr. Danson Khaw (Assistant Outlet Manager) showed us his skills on pumping a perfect pint of beer with speed and accuracy.
Here you go the perfect pint of beer!
After the demonstration, it was our turn to pump the perfect pint of beer with only one given chance. Extra points were accorded for the showmanship while pumping the beer.
Very nervous to pour my first pint of beer!
Ta-daaa ---
Prizes were given to the winners after the two stages of the challenge were completed.
1st Grand Prize: 2D1N stay in Premier Suite worth RM2340.
2nd Prize: 2D1N stay in Executive Premier worth RM1190.
