[REVIEW]: Erno Laszlo Sea Mud Deep Cleansing Bar

Hello peeps, 

So, I have been using this product ERNO LASZLO NEW YORK for a few months now. And i really wanted to write some reviews about it, because: 
1. They just opened their new store (YUP! ONE AND ONLY in MALAYSIA) at SUNWAY PYRAMID, Subang Jaya, Malaysia! 
2. I heard about this product from many Taiwan TV SHOW and what not. 
3. Still a lot of my friends and people never heard about this brand. 
4. I cannot wait to share how actually my face feels after using this product *Wink Wink* 

Let me briefly introduce the brand "ERNO LASZLO NEW YORK". 
Erno Laszlo New York is a luxury brand of bespoke formulations since 1927. 
The Hungarian dermatologist Erno Laszlo was the first doctor to create his own line of medically based skincare products. His revolutionary idea of following a skincare routine based on one’s skin type still proves effective today, and potent new formulas continue his tradition of cutting-edge skincare. The authority in skincare is formulated with state-of-the-art technology, delivering results previously possible only with invasive medical procedures. 

I guess: ENCHANTED, SOPHISTICATED, GLAMOROUS are the words to describe the brand. 

Here's the iconic Erno Laszlo's black cleansing bar is made from Dead Sea mud. It removes impurities, as well as exfoliates for soft, smooth skin. It is 97% natural exfoliating black soap dramatically improves the overall quality of your skin with therapeutic Dead Sea mud, refining the complexion and removing dead skin cells for more radiant skin. It stimulates, too, improving circulation and motivating natural skin regeneration. It won’t strip the skin of natural oils as it removes dirt, blackheads, impurities and makeup. 

I got this from the SUNWAY PYRAMID Erno Laszlo store on its first day opening back then (Oct 2015).

Just found out that Sephora is carrying the product too! 

How to use it: 
1. Begin with Phelityl Pre-Cleansing Oil (the yellowish color). 
2. Pour a dime-size drop into the palm of your hand and smooth over the face. 
3. Then, dampen the skin and massage Sea Mud Deep Cleansing Bar onto the face and neck. 
4. Follow with Erno Laszlo's Splashing Technique—splash your skin with water 30 times. 
5. Finally, apply Light Controlling Lotion at night after cleansing. 
6. Shake to mix then saturate a cotton ball with the toner and gently sweep over the face, avoiding the eye area. 
7. Buff with a cotton ball. 

There you go your clean, fresh, and beautiful face =D

Well, i have a little bit sensitive facial skin (dryness, redness). The first time when i used the cleansing bar it actually hurts my skin a little, especially around my sensitive skin area (around my mouth). It usually happens when i try on new products. But, but, but, it was just the first two times. After that it was good, as my skin has already adapted to the product. I feel fresh and clean every time after cleansing my face with it. And trust me, i think my facial skin is getting smoother and less pimples after using. 
The Phelityl Pre-Cleansing Oil is quite oily. Personally, i feel that this cleansing oil acts a little bit like make-remover where it adds on the cleansing effect. 
While for the Light Controlling Lotion, it smells like alcohol to me (like VERY VERY STRONG, DO NOT put your nose on it to smell, you will regret!). I don't really like this actually, it's just to strong and kinda irritate my skin (felt painful after putting it on).

Above are my own personal reviews about the product and i would recommend this product to anyone who wanted to try. * Can try the trio set first before getting the regular size item! *
